What’s new

Changes to the Haunted Disco Dance-off, newest first, by the hour they went live (Prague time). Rule changes are marked.

  • Rule change

Custom mascots are now unlocked with points

No payment needed. Score 30,000 points in total across all your rounds to unlock your first AI mascot with 3 tries. The next ones unlock at 60k, 120k, 240k and 480k, up to 5 in all. Your progress is on your player page.

  • 8 rivals on phones too

Phones now race 8 rivals like big screens, in a strip that scrolls to keep you and the player just ahead in view. Everyone from the same waiting room always sees each other.

  • Rivals always have a score

Replays that scored 0 are no longer picked as rivals.

  • A nudge when there is a new version

Between rounds, the page offers a refresh when a new version is out, with a link to this page. It never shows while you play.

  • Rule change

    Names are unique

Pick a name nobody else uses. If the name is yours from another device, sign in with your email to use it.

  • One row per person on the high scores

The high scores show each player once, with their best score, and ranks count people, not devices.

  • Results after a multiplayer round

The race stays on screen when the song ends, with everyone’s final place and a medal for the winner.

  • Rule change

Promo codes now unlock after a multiplayer round

Finish one multiplayer round to reveal the Halloween codes. The tutorial no longer unlocks them. If you already unlocked the codes, they stay unlocked.

  • Rule change

Easy mode is now the tutorial, and you can skip it

The four-lane round teaches the moves. Tap “Skip tutorial, play multiplayer” to jump straight in.

  • Encore is now called multiplayer

Same six lanes and the same high scores, with a clearer name. You play live against others in the waiting room, or against replays of their best runs.

  • One rival per person

You never race the same player twice in one round, or a replay of someone who is already racing you live.

  • Your player page

Sign in with your email to see your games and duels, change your name (the leaderboard notes your old one), and pick one of 22 mascots. You can also have AI draw your own mascot, each one checked for safety before anyone sees it.

  • Fixes

On iPhone, multiplayer rounds now play the whole song instead of ending early.

  • Play with a controller

PlayStation and Xbox controllers work over Bluetooth or USB. Press any button on the controller once the page is open.

  • Live multiplayer and duels

A shared waiting room starts everyone together, live boards show other players as they play, and every shared multiplayer score can be dueled note for note.
